The Polish Institute for Evidence Based Medicine (PIEBM) is a nonprofit organization established in 2003.
The Institute excels in developing medical publications, comprehensive digital resources, and continuing medical education (CME) programs for health care professionals and medical trainees.
Through effective knowledge translation we aim to transform complex scientific findings into accessible, practical information that enhances clinical decision-making. By bridging the gap between research and practice, we strive to improve the quality of health care and medical education globally.

The Jagiellonian University Medical College is the medical faculty of Poland's oldest university, which was founded in 1364 by King Casimir III the Great. Wroclaw Medical University is one of the best medical universities in Poland with over 75 years of tradition. Our students can develop their skills in the biggest and most modern clinical base in the region, as well as in the Medical Simulation Centre equipped with interactive phantoms. The studies are adapted to the common European program — our diplomas are recognized in all EU/EFTA countries, the US, Canada, India, Thailand, Taiwan, and many more. Teaching is carried out by a team of highly educated specialists in tutorial groups of 10–12 students in the theoretical subjects and 4–5 students during bedside teaching. The student community is active and very diverse — there are almost 120 student organizations, focusing not only on scientific research, but also sports, arts, culture, etc. Our efforts to provide the best education standards have also been recognized by Times Higher Education World University Ranking, in which we achieved the highest result of all Polish universities, both overall and in Medicine&Dentistry.

“Wieliczka” Salt Mine Health Resort
The “Wieliczka” Salt Mine Health Resort, located near Kraków, Poland, conducts pulmonary rehabilitation combined with climate therapy for patients with bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic inflammatory conditions of the upper respiratory tract (such as rhinitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, and laryngitis), and allergies.
Treatments take place in underground salt chambers, where a stable microclimate—characterised by constant temperature, high humidity, and air saturated with salt particles—supports symptom reduction, improved exercise tolerance, and enhanced quality of life.
